Requests

Create early check-in and late checkout offers, generate payment links, and manage request statuses.

A request is a flexible arrival or departure offer you send to a guest — either an early check-in or a late checkout. This is where you create offers, generate payment links, and track status.

Request types

  • Early check-in — the guest arrives before the standard check-in time
  • Late checkout — the guest departs after the standard checkout time

Create a request

  1. 1

    Click “New request.”

  2. 2

    Choose a property.

Optionally link a reservation to pre-fill guest context.

  3. 3

Enter the guest name and, if available, their email.

  4. 4

Pick the type, requested time, price, and currency.

  5. 5

    Save the request.

Where requests come from

Requests created from a reservation are tagged as coming from a reservation; ones you type in by hand are marked as created manually in the dashboard.

Generate a payment link

Click “Payment link” on any request. FlexCheck creates a secure checkout link you can copy and send to your guest. The guest sees your business name at checkout.

Understanding statuses

  • Pending — the offer is created but not yet paid
  • Paid — the guest completed payment; the link becomes read-only
  • Expired — the payment link window passed without payment

Why does it say “Paid”?

Once a guest completes payment, the request is marked Paid and you don't need to generate a new link. Reopening the request will show the paid state.

Deleting a request

Deleting a request also removes its payment attempts, revenue records, sent messages, and pending approval. This cannot be undone.

Careful before deleting

If a guest has already paid, deleting the request removes the associated revenue record too. Refund or resolve the payment first if needed.
